Weekly Rhythm of Prayer

I came that they may have life and have it to the full.
— John 10:10

Creative Prayer

We long to grow in spiritual maturity and to increase our knowledge of God.  To this end we engage creatively with Scripture. We meditate upon the Bible, taking time to savour and ponder on the text.  This meaningful engagement with the text creates the context in which we encounter God, hear God’s voice, deepen and develop our understanding of who God is and the plans God has for our lives.

The Way of Blessing

We speak blessings over our communities.  We bless every aspect of life including but not limited to health, finance, politics, education, commercial activities, communication, relationships and family.  We take our prayers to the place we want to see God’s Presence manifested and our prayers answered. Walking the streets, we bless and pray for the people, the communities, organisations and groups. We invite the Holy Spirit to fill and bless each life. Led by the Spirit, we learn more of God’s heart for our communal lives and release God’s healing, peace, restoration, reconciliation and love into our communities.

Praise & Worship

God alone is worthy of our praise.  We sing to God because God is the object of our praise and worship.  In thankfulness, we sing and make music from our hearts to God. Singing helps us attend to God, bringing hearts, souls, minds and strength together in focusing entirely on God. Corporate singing unites us as one body and helps express our worship and range of emotions.  It is our response to God’s work in our lives.

We meet for prayer Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 10.30
